Booking Setup
Connect your calendar and configure your availability for live booking.
Before TradieToolBox can book appointments live, it needs to know when you're available. There are two ways to set this up — choose whichever suits you.
Option A — Google Calendar integration (recommended)
Connect your Google Calendar and TradieToolBox will check your real-time availability during every call. Confirmed bookings are added to your calendar automatically.
Go to Settings → Integrations
Connect Google Calendar
Select your calendar
Set your working hours
Set your job duration
Tip
We recommend creating a dedicated Google Calendar called "TradieToolBox Jobs" and connecting that, rather than your personal calendar. Keeps things clean.
Option B — Manual availability windows
If you don't use Google Calendar, you can set fixed availability windows instead. TradieToolBox will offer slots within these windows without checking a live calendar.
Go to Settings → Availability
Set your slot length
Block out time as needed
Important
Without Google Calendar integration, TradieToolBox can't see your existing bookings. There's a risk of double-booking if you're also taking bookings through other channels. We strongly recommend Option A for this reason.
Testing booking
Once set up, do a test call and go through to the booking stage. TradieToolBox should offer you slots and confirm one. Check your Google Calendar — the booking should appear within a few seconds of the call ending.
