Booking Setup

Connect your calendar and configure your availability for live booking.

Pro

Before CallHandlr can book appointments live, it needs to know when you're available. Right now, live booking requires a connected Google Calendar.

Google Calendar Integration

Connect your Google Calendar and CallHandlr will check your real-time availability during every call. Confirmed bookings are added to your calendar automatically.

1

Go to Settings → Integrations

Log in to your CallHandlr account and navigate to Settings → Integrations.
2

Connect Google Calendar

Click Connect next to Google Calendar. You'll be taken to Google to authorise access. CallHandlr only needs read/write access to your calendar - nothing else.
3

Select your calendar

If you have multiple Google Calendars, select which one CallHandlr should use for reading availability and adding bookings.
4

Set your working hours

In Settings → Availability, set your working hours for each day. CallHandlr will only offer slots within these hours, regardless of what's in your calendar.
5

Set your job duration

Set a default job duration (e.g. 1 hour, 90 minutes). This determines how slots are calculated. You can override this per job type if needed.

Tip

We recommend creating a dedicated Google Calendar called "CallHandlr Jobs" and connecting that, rather than your personal calendar. Keeps things clean.

Google Calendar is required for live booking

CallHandlr checks your real calendar before it offers any slot. If Google Calendar is not connected, it cannot safely offer live availability during the call.

Important

Live booking will not work until Google Calendar is connected. If you are not using Google Calendar yet, the safest setup is to create a dedicated calendar for CallHandlr jobs and connect that first.

Testing booking

Once set up, do a test call and go through to the booking stage. CallHandlr should offer you slots and confirm one. Check your Google Calendar - the booking should appear within a few seconds of the call ending.
