Multi-Engineer Setup

Scale CallHandlr across your whole team.

Enterprise

Enterprise accounts support an unlimited number of engineers. CallHandlr can check availability across your whole team, assign jobs to the right engineer, and send individual alerts to each person.

Adding engineers

Go to Settings → Team

Click Add Engineer and enter their name and mobile number.

Connect their calendar

Each engineer should connect their own Google Calendar under their profile. CallHandlr checks all connected calendars when finding available slots.

Set their working hours

Set individual working hours per engineer. Useful if engineers have different schedules or cover different areas.

Set their service area

Optionally set a postcode radius per engineer. CallHandlr will prefer engineers closest to the job location.

How job assignment works

When a new call comes in, CallHandlr finds the best available engineer based on:

  • Who is free at the requested time
  • Who is closest to the job location (by postcode)
  • Who has the most efficient route that day (minimising travel between jobs)

The assigned engineer receives their own SMS alert. The admin account receives a master alert with the full picture.

Note

Job assignment is automatic but you can always reassign manually - just update the Google Calendar event and the engineer gets notified.

Engineer-level alerts

Each engineer receives SMS alerts for jobs assigned to them - not all jobs. This keeps individual engineers focused on their own schedule without being overwhelmed by every enquiry.

The admin account (you) receives alerts for all jobs, plus the daily summary.

Removing an engineer

Go to Settings → Team, find the engineer, and click Remove. Their calendar will be disconnected and they'll stop receiving alerts immediately. Any existing jobs in their calendar will need to be manually reassigned.
