Multi-Engineer Setup
Scale TradieToolBox across your whole team.
Enterprise accounts support an unlimited number of engineers. TradieToolBox can check availability across your whole team, assign jobs to the right engineer, and send individual alerts to each person.
Adding engineers
Go to Settings → Team
Connect their calendar
Set their working hours
Set their service area
How job assignment works
When a new call comes in, TradieToolBox finds the best available engineer based on:
- Who is free at the requested time
- Who is closest to the job location (by postcode)
- Who has the most efficient route that day (minimising travel between jobs)
The assigned engineer receives their own SMS alert. The admin account receives a master alert with the full picture.
Note
Job assignment is automatic but you can always reassign manually — just update the Google Calendar event and the engineer gets notified.
Engineer-level alerts
Each engineer receives SMS alerts for jobs assigned to them — not all jobs. This keeps individual engineers focused on their own schedule without being overwhelmed by every enquiry.
The admin account (you) receives alerts for all jobs, plus the daily summary.
Removing an engineer
Go to Settings → Team, find the engineer, and click Remove. Their calendar will be disconnected and they'll stop receiving alerts immediately. Any existing jobs in their calendar will need to be manually reassigned.
